In the old days mules were used to pull the coal loaded shuttle cars out of the mines.
Today the coal is loaded from the miner at the face onto buggies which carries the coal to
a belt which carried it to skip shaft where the coal dumps into a huge skip bucket which
hoists it to the top where it goes onto another belt and is carried to big coal silo's until
the coal train comes to load out.
