Joanna Allen was born about 1615 at Lynn, England. Aged 20 in 1635. She had a brother Bozoun, a mercer, who came with his wife and family from Lynn, Co. Norfolk, England in 1638 in the ship "Diligent" and settled at Hingham, Ma., then removed to Boston, Suffolk Co., Ma. Her brother William's will, in 1648 in London, Eng., mentions his brother Bozoun and sisters Elizabeth Burcham and Joanna Peck. The brother Thomas in his will dated 13 August 1643, of London, Eng. mentions "my brother Bozoune, now in New England".
Joanna Allen married 1st, Henry Peck, born between 1615-1620, and died 30 October 1651. His will was made the 30th of the 8th month in 1651.
