HENRY GINGER

Henry Ginger was born 4 Apr 1758 [Cumberland Co., PA.? or in Germany?]. He came to America when seven years of age. He lived at Philadelphia, PA.
He enlisted when only sixteen years of age in the Pennsylvania troops as a Private and was taken prisoner at Charleston, South Carolina.

He married Chauncy Luster.
He removed to North Carolina, then to Tennessee, and from there to Bowling Green, Fayette county, Illinois, in 1825. He died 8 Feb 1842 Fayette Co., IL. and is buried in the Britton cemetery, six and one-half miles southeast from Vandalia. He was pensioned.
